Ceramic tile, vinyl planks, click flooring, glue down… So many choices… What should I do?

Nowadays, it’s really easy to get overwhelmed, when shopping, for anything.

We go to a restaurant, and the menu shows us 5 pages of dining choices.  We buy a new car and they all look the same, but one costs an extra $50, 000.  How to decide?

When it comes to flooring, the same rings true.  You can buy flooring that costs $2 per square foot, or you can buy flooring that cost you $20 per square foot.

Here are a few tips to help you narrow down your search, and ensure you select the flooring that is right, for you.

It is important to choose flooring that you will feel happy about!  Floors that inspire you!  Floors you love!

First things first.

When planning your flooring renovation, there are a few important factors to help eliminate what doesn’t work, for your space.  If you’re vegetarian, you automatically narrow down your search for that meal, when selecting your menu item at a restaurant.

Important to know, when shopping for new floors:

  • Are you looking for carpet or hardwood flooring?
  • How much foot traffic will be walking on your new floors?
  • Do you have children? Pets?
  • Is this your personal residence?  A rental property?
  • Are you in a house?  Or do you need to communicate with your Strata?
  • What styles do you like?
  • What is your budget?

When you know the answer to those simple but important questions, your search becomes a smoother process.

If you have no idea what you want or what your needs are, it is difficult to choose.  Know the facts, add your must haves, then the nice to haves.  Once you know the answers to those questions, you can make an informed decision.

Let us help you narrow down the search and choose the flooring that best suits your lifestyle.
